It Is With Deep Sorrow That I have To Let Everyone Know that Our ||GEN||Powell Has Died He was A Friend
And Fellow Old TAMS {Mr Indiana} Mem Who Brought Lots Of Joy And Laughter To Those Who Knew Him I am very Sorry That He Is Gone I will Always Remember His Laugh And his Knowledge of WW2 Movie Lines And Quotes Of Monty Python Please place Below This post A Tribute To Our Friend And Comrade ||GEN||POWELL

I can do no more than admit to you all that I am crying as I write this. Powell was a great man and it was an honor to have known him.
I will miss him dearly.

I will miss ||GEN||Powell. He had a great sense of humor and the most contagious laugh I have ever heard. He was an excellent team player of COD2. I didn’t know him away from the game, but I am sure that he was a fine person. He will be greatly missed by all.

I was fortunate to play the game alot with him just him and I. He always had the utmost integrity and character, and was always a Gentleman. I will miss him dearly. He is with God now.

I am so sorry to hear that ||GEN||Powell passed away. I am glad that since the short time I have played with the Generals I got a chance to play with Powell. Powell will be missed deeply. Jr if there is any we can do for you as a clan and your friends please let us know. It is cool to see that a family can spend time together playing COD2. OMG....I'm in shock. I just heard, I still can't believe it. He was one of TAMS original members even before I join TAMS. I will definitly miss him and his little snickering laughter.

John will always be remembered as {TAMS} Mr Indidana to me. Yes, he has such a way of making all who played the game with him laugh. He has been missed since he joined the Generals, but now he is with God, and God must have needed him more than his gaming families, or even his own personal family.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family. I'm sure since he was always laughing while playing, he was the same during his family time as well.

To the family and friends of John (affectionately known in the gaming world as Powell or Indiana),

I am truly at a loss. My heartfelt sympathies and prayers go out to to everyone who knew John.

I personally did not know John as well as others when he was in TAMS. I do remember a few times we were being used for cannon fodder on nights when the old TDM COMP team needed people to practice with them and we would simply hide and snipe from the bakery until they found us LOL.

Again to friends and family all my love and prayers at this difficult time.

I was floored, nothing in life is fair and loosing a comrade, husband and father at such a young age is horrible. My families thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Powell I will miss you terribly. While we did not spend much time together online the times spent were truly enjoyable. You were always a gentleman and a true team player. It'll be a lot quieter around here without you and if the ||GEN||s can do anything for the family please let us know.

It's hard to believe that he is not still here with us! I enjoy playing cod2 with him. His laugh was something I love to hear. He never ever had anything bad to say about players from TAMS to GENS . He was a man of honor and dignity, people like him are hard to find and I will miss him a lot.

although i did not know him well, i faintly remember all the little things he said, that made me laugh. it breaks my heart that he is now gone.

but now he is in a better place, a happier and more peaceful place.

I, along with the rest of my Clan, wish to offer our deepest sympathies to John’s family and all of the CoD community. It’s been 3yrs now since we became involved with CoD, the {TAMS} Clan was a big help to us. We have posted a new block in his memory at badcompanygaming.net. He will be greatly missed.

i came onto the GENs site for another reason but saw this. I am in awe. I got to play with Powell/Indiana a lot. I have tears in my eyes as I write this. WOW such a shock! What a great guy for the gaming community as a whole to lose.

Powell/Indiana, you will be missed! My heart and prayers go out to your family, tboth in real life and to the GENs.

I have so much more to say but it is hard to see the keys to type or the monitor to see what I am writing.

So very sorry for the loss of one of the good guys. When someone touches this many people in a gaming community, they must be someone special. I didn't know him personally, but I played with him multiple times. My condolences to his family and ALL the friends he has made here and elsewhere! God Bless.

I did not have the honor of knowing him, but a death of a friend is as heart breaking as your own blood sometimes. Seeing how he already has three pages of people sending condolences, he must have been a great person. Remember the good times, that's what matters.

Well folks I write this in tears as I inform you a friend of mine, a friend of ours has passed away. \|\|GEN\|\|Powell formerly {TAMs}Mr.Indiana has passed away. I do not know the details on his passing. Those of you that got to know him or even ever talk to him on TS know the great sorrow of his loss. His distinctive laugh and gentanly style always brought joy to others. He was one of the good guys. The kind of guy you really enjoyed to play with. Powell, I know your in heaven and I know you can see this. Thankyou for everything you have done to help make the gaming community a better place. Thankyou for being you and allowing all of us to enjoy our selves while we are around you. There is a JR Powell. I can't imagine his pain. sad to hear. in the last 2 weeks my grandfather, brothers wife's grandfather, guy i worked withs son, and now a gaming friend have all died. i hope this trend stops. _________________
